Manage and Executing Mentors4College’s social media strategy to increase awareness, engage audiences, and promote the organization’s mission. This role involves creating compelling content, maintaining a consistent online presence, and growing the organization’s social media following to attract mentees, mentors, and supporters.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Manage and maintain Mentors4College’s presence on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and others.
Create engaging content, including posts, graphics, videos, and stories, to promote programs, events, and success stories.
Schedule and monitor posts, ensuring consistent and timely communication across all platforms.
Interact with followers, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
Analyze social media metrics to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Stay updated on social media trends and tools to enhance the organization’s online presence.
Collaborate with mentee, mentor and fundraising coordinators to ensure cohesive messaging and campaigns.

Our mission is to help students and parents find and attend their ideal post-secondary educational program, help school counselors extend their college counseling reach, and build college-savvy communities - with services free to all!
Description
Founded in 2011, Mentors 4 College has worked with over 1,200 high school students from our existing chapters, plus individual students from other St Louis area schools, as well as individual students from around the country.
Our mentors come from a wide variety of educational and work backgrounds, as well as from many different cultures, so we're able to pair our mentees with mentors who can understand their abilities, needs and goals.We currently have 75 volunteer mentors who are professionally trained and give freely of their time to help high school students find and get accepted to their ideal schools. 94% of students completing our program enter and stay with their chosen school.
