Responsibilities
i. Understand the history, structure, objectives, programs and financial needs of the nonprofit.
ii. Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies.
iii. Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization.
iv. Submit proposals to grant coordinators for approval.
v. Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals.
i. Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders.
ii. Maintain records and submitted reports related to grant opportunities.
c. Requirements
i. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, creative writing or a related area ( or student )
ii. Experience in grant writing
iii. Excellent knowledge of grant proposal submission and fundraising process
iv. Ability to study and understand programs and funding requirements of the nonprofit
v. 2-6 hours of work a week that can be committed to the nonprofit

Mission Statement
The mission of Operation Breast Density is to empower women with knowledge about their breast health to optimize and individualize their breast cancer screening. We aim to educate those on breast density and its associated risk for breast cancer development as well as promote awareness about the screening challenges of dense breast tissue. Our goals are to prevent missed or delayed cancer diagnoses in women to ultimately reduce the overall mortality of breast cancer patients.
