Located just 6 miles west of historic Medora, this serene, shaded oasis is the ideal basecamp for exploring the breathtaking Little Missouri National Grasslands, the iconic Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and the charming town of Medora.


What You’ll Enjoy:

Scenic Surroundings : Nestle into one of the most beautiful areas in the region, surrounded by the natural wonders of the grasslands and parklands.

Convenient Amenities :

• 35 paved campsites

• Flush and vault toilets

• Shower house and potable water

• Large pavilion, picnic tables, and fire rings

Your Role:


As a Campground Host, you’ll serve as the friendly face of the campground, assisting visitors with information, maintaining facilities, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all who stay. It’s an opportunity to meet outdoor enthusiasts from all walks of life while contributing to the stewardship of this cherished area.


What to Expect:

Summers Full of Sunshine : Daytime temperatures range from the 80s to 90s, with occasional heat waves reaching the 100s.

Exciting Weather : Experience the thrill of summer thunderstorms rolling across the plains.

Nearby Essentials : While the campground feels like a peaceful retreat, you’re only a short drive from Medora or Dickinson for medical services, groceries, restaurants, and more.
