We are looking for community engagement specialists, grant reseracher/writers, data analyst.

If this is you, consider joining our team. At Raising a Scholar, we are dedicated to providing equitable access to quality primary education for underserved students. Our mission is to ensure that every child, regardless of their racial or sexual identity, financial status, or ethnicity, has equitable access to high-quality primary education. We aim to empower underserved students by providing the resources, support, and opportunities they need to succeed academically, build a strong educational foundation, and unlock their full potential. Through targeted initiatives, advocacy, and community-driven efforts, we strive to break down systemic barriers to education and create pathways for lifelong learning and achievement.

Below are the roles for each position:

Community Engagement Specialist:

  • Act as a liaison between the research team and the communities served.
  • Gather insights from communities served to ensure research reflects local needs.
  • Assist with sharing findings in accessible formats for community members.

Grant Researcher/Writer

  • Identify potential funding opportunities and gather supporting data for grant applications.
  • Collaborate with the fundraising team to align research with funder priorities.
  • Track the latest trends in education funding.
  • Write compelling grant proposals and submit applications.
  • Track deadlines and ensure timely submission of applications and reports.
  • Maintain relationships with grantors and update them on program outcomes

Data Analyst:

  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to educational access and program outcomes.
  • Create visualizations and reports to support decision-making and advocacy efforts.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of programs.
