Campground Host

ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

Become a Campground Host at Gulpha Gorge Campground! The only campground in America's first national park has beautiful scenery, access to trails, and just10 minutes from the heart of downtown Hot Springs.


Our hosts serve up to 4 months supporting our campers, assisting maintenance staff, and enjoying the beauty of our 5,500-acre park. There are 32 hours of service required, and you can determine your own schedule with your co-campground hosts. Please disregard the opportunity dates as your volunteer service will be the time slot opportunity you've applied for.


To apply please fill out a volunteer.gov application and send a resume with 2 references to the Volunteer Coordinator at hosp_volunteer@nps.gov. In your email, please specify which time slot you are applying for. You can apply for a maximum of two non-consecutive time slots. Applications remain open, and time slots are updated as folks are scheduled.
