Position Purpose:
The volunteer Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to External Relations, Finance, and the Provincial Office of the Alzheimer Society of Alberta & Northwest Territories (AS ABNT). This role specifically supports with entry of fundraising, donations, and pledges for the AFO Hockey Tournament.

This position supports day-to-day organizational and administrative activities that ensure the smooth operation of tracking funds raised by each AFO team.

Tasks / Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the administrative assistant include, but are not limited to:
-Using a standardized entry method for funds received whether donations, fundraising, or pledges to ensure it is allocated to the correct AFO team.
-Communicating between Finance team and Event Manager, especially near incentive deadlines about the status of inputted information.
-Follow guidelines, policies, and procedures for volunteering with AS ABNT

Location / Setting: Edmonton office during office hours (between 8:30am-4:30pm). Primarily sitting at a desk using computer throughout volunteer hours.

Due to the incentive deadlines and to ensure proper communication to teams, this volunteer will be required to commit to scheduling shifts primarily near the middle and within the first couple days of each month.
