We are seeking a dynamic, self-starter interested in joining our organization as the deputy director. In this role you will work with the executive director, helping with operational and administrative tasks as needed. You will also contribute to the planning and implementation of processes and organizational goals. This is a volunteer position, and some schedule flexibility is necessary

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists the executive director in needed duties and effectively carry out assigned responsibilities
  • Communicate with executive director to determine daily responsibilities for ongoing projects
  • Assist in planning and scheduling of various programs and projects
  • Assists Execut Director with performing necessary clerical tasks e.g. (phone calls, emails, etc.)
  • Helps implement new procedures and/or operational changes
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with different community leaders and organizations
  • Attends organization meetings
  • May write and or verbally deliver progress reports
  • Ensure all work meets necessary compliance standards
  • Assists with public interaction and helps to represent our organization in a professional manner
  • Helps to lead and complete special assigned projects
  • Be a knowledgeable resource in matters related to our organization
  • Confident and eager to engage with clients

Founded in 2014, EMPACT ONE FOUNDATION (E1F) formerly EMPACT international is a Board-directed IRS recognized 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing needed resources, programs, and services to individuals, families, and communities most in need, and to offer the tools and environment that facilitate holistic growth. We accomplish this by providing the tools necessary to make a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve, and the life of their community.

Through our partnerships, services, missions, projects, and community development programs we seek to develop economically sustained and educated communities, and to further empower individuals to be self-sustained community leaders and builders.

EMPACT functions to serve the local community and further recognizes the need for partnerships, networking, accountability, community service, program availability, and resource facilitation.

The overriding purpose of EMPACT One Foundation is to build, support, and empower the local community and to empower local citizens to EMPACT their local communities through their collective desire to serve all in need without prejudice and discrimination.
