Volunteer Description: The Development and Outreach Department of Human Rights Watch (HRW) is seeking volunteers for its annual Voices for Justice Miami dinner on March 10, 2025 at the New World Center . The first shift will run from 11a m- 4 :30 pm, and the second shift will run 4 -10pm. Ideally each volunteer will be available for a minimum of 4 hours between the hours of 1 1am to 10pm within these two shifts.
The event, a fundraiser to support the work of Human Rights Watch, begins with registration and a reception at 6 :00 pm, followed by a dinner and program at 7:00 pm. The event will conclude by 10:00 pm .
VOLUNTEERS MAY BE INVOLVED WITH:
▪ Event Set-up & Breakdown ;
▪ Live Fundraising Help ;
▪ Registration ;
▪ Ushers and Door Attendants ;
▪ Greeting and Directing Guests ; and
▪ Other Miscellaneous Tasks
A brief virtual training prior to the event will be required . Please note that morning tasks will involve light lifting and kneeling, and both shifts involve standing for an extended period of time.
*We will provide dinner for all volunteers on-site. Uber voucher available upon request.
