Are you passionate about education and looking for a flexible way to give back to the community? GuidEd invites you to join us for our School Choice Fair at Zoo Tampa and choose a shift that works best for you. You can make a meaningful impact by helping with setup, assisting at booths, or participating in the cleanup.
**8:00 AM - 11:00 AM Shift: The Morning Start**
Be an early bird and help us kick off the event! During this shift, you'll play a crucial role in setting up the fair, ensuring that everything is ready for students and families to explore their educational options. Help arrange booths, materials, and create an inviting atmosphere. You'll have the chance to assist with guiding attendees to various booths, answering questions, check in families, and ensuring that the event runs smoothly.
**11:00 PM - 2:00 PM Shift: The Noon-Time Engagement**
Join us for the midday shift, where you can make a difference during the heart of the event. This is an ideal time to help at booths, check in attendees, and provide valuable information to students and families. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the event ends on a high note, helping to dismantle booths, gather materials, and leave Zoo Tampa in pristine condition.
8am-2pm Shift: You can join us from beginning to end!
No matter which shift you choose, your participation as a GuidEd volunteer is invaluable. You'll be part of an empowering experience for students and families while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the zoo. Don't miss this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of families. Description
GuidEd is a Florida based, 501c3 nonprofit organization located in Tampa, FL that offers free educational services to families in Hillsborough County. We believe that each child is unique, and everyone should have access to an education that works for them. GuidEd offers free educational services and personalized one-on-one coaching to help families navigate the complex system of school choice. We work with educational partners such as Hillsborough County Public Schools, Charter Schools, Micro schools, Private School, Homeschool and Virtual School options. We connect with families through community outreach and have fun family focused events throughout the year!
