Heart to Heart Hospice is looking for a few more volunteers in the Northville/Plymouth area. Many of our hospice patients are seeking companionship and emotional support. Being lonely is one of the next Big Diseases. You can help cure this disease by becoming a hospice volunteer. Patients are generally seen twice a month for an hour at a time. Many of our patient's are open to conversation, listening to music, having you read to them, or even doing their nails.
If you are willing to share your time and talent, we welcome you to join our team. A background check, fingerprinting, TB tests and orientation are required. You must be 18 years or older.

Description
Our Southgate office is looking for volunteers both in the clerical/administrative and patient visit capacities. We have a growing office with a very friendly staff and are seeking those who wish to give of themselves but are prepared to recieve far more than they give. Patient visits are completed in homes, nursing facilities, and adult foster care. We are very flexible and will work around your availability.
