Plan and execute fundraising initiatives to secure $30,000-$35,000 annually in support of Mentors4College’s mission. This role focuses on building relationships with donors, identifying funding opportunities, and creating compelling campaigns to engage supporters and sustain program operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve annual fundraising goals.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and philanthropic organizations.
Plan and execute fundraising events, virtual campaigns, and donor engagement activities.
Research and apply for grants aligned with Mentors4College’s mission and goals.
Manage donor communications, including thank-you letters, newsletters, and impact reports.
Maintain an up-to-date donor database to track contributions and manage donor relations.
Collaborate with the leadership team to identify new funding opportunities and refine fundraising strategies.
Monitor fundraising performance and prepare regular reports on progress toward goals.

Description
Founded in 2011, Mentors 4 College has worked with over 1,200 high school students from our existing chapters, plus individual students from other St Louis area schools, as well as individual students from around the country.
Our mentors come from a wide variety of educational and work backgrounds, as well as from many different cultures, so we're able to pair our mentees with mentors who can understand their abilities, needs and goals.We currently have 75 volunteer mentors who are professionally trained and give freely of their time to help high school students find and get accepted to their ideal schools. 94% of students completing our program enter and stay with their chosen school.
