At Capital City Hospice, our Bereavement program includes "Dessert and Memories," a monthly Grief Support group for those who have lost a loved one on our service.
An opportunity for the bereaved to share stories, memories and encouragement for each other, "Dessert and Memories" offers a comfortable space with friends.
Desserts--simple two-bite desserts, cookies or other goodies--sweeten the meeting. Volunteers who enjoy baking are invited to provide these sweet treats.
A volunteer orientation is required, offered each month, day or evening meeting. Join our team of caring volunteers and help support our hospice bereavement program!
