Build and maintain strong relationships with high school counselors, school districts, and community leaders to enhance partnerships and expand Mentors4College's impact. This role involves recruiting counselors as program advocates, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the program aligns with the needs of schools and their students.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies to recruit high school and admission counselors as supporters and advocates for Mentors4College programs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with high schools, districts, higher education institutions and community organizations to promote mentorship opportunities.
Act as a liaison between Mentors4College and school/admission counselors, ensuring alignment with school priorities and the needs of students.
Facilitate informational sessions, workshops, and events to engage counselors and community leaders.
Collaborate with school/admission counselors to identify students who would benefit from mentorship and support services.
Stay informed about trends and challenges in education to address the needs of schools effectively.
Create resources and materials to support counselors in promoting and integrating Mentors4College programs into their work.
Track and report on partnership outcomes and recruitment efforts, making data-informed recommendations for program improvements.

Description
Founded in 2011, Mentors 4 College has worked with over 1,200 high school students from our existing chapters, plus individual students from other St Louis area schools, as well as individual students from around the country.
Our mentors come from a wide variety of educational and work backgrounds, as well as from many different cultures, so we're able to pair our mentees with mentors who can understand their abilities, needs and goals.We currently have 75 volunteer mentors who are professionally trained and give freely of their time to help high school students find and get accepted to their ideal schools. 94% of students completing our program enter and stay with their chosen school.
