We are looking for compassionate and respectful volunteers (veterans or active military would be great) to visit veteran hospice patients and present them with recognition awards or tokens of appreication. These visits provide an opportunity to honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans, offering them comfort and gratitude int their final stages of life.
Responsibilities:
Veteran Recognition Visits: travel to the veterans locations (home or facility) and present with recognition items such as certificates plaques or other tokesn of appreciation for service.
Personal Acknowledgement: Engate in a thoughtful and respectful conversation, expressing gratitude for their service and sacrifice.
Offer focused listening and respectful presence
Background and Driving Check required, valid drivers license and insurance required.
Training provided.
