Seeking to fill 2 Volunteer Beach Host positions for Summer 2025. Beaches are open from May 1 - September 1, 2025. Extensions available on a case by case basis.
Volunteers will be responsible for opening and closing the gates to the park, assisting visitors, maintaining life jacket loaner stations, inspecting facilities, assistance with picnic shelters, water safety promotion and general park upkeep. A full hookup campsite is provided inside the assigned park.
Must have a valid drivers license, fully enclosed RV with sewer hookup, and must be able to pass a federal background check.
Minimum of 20 hours a week is required. Schedule for beaches is 4 days on, 4 days off. Beach operations include opening and closing of parks, assisting visitors, maintaining life jacket loaner stations, inspecting facilities, assistance with picnic shelters, water safety promotion, general park upkeep, and assisting Park Rangers as needed.
