Mission Statement

We are a charity 501c3 volunteer organization. We work with dogs to help them prepare to join a new family. We pull unadoptable dogs from the local shelters and vet and work with them until they are ready to transition. Sometimes it takes a few days, sometimes it takes years, depending on the trauma. Our adoption fees help us pay our vet and we are always looking for new donors and people who want to help our dogs. Our goal is to find the perfect match, and if you adopt from us we will always take the dog back. Our main objective is to create a lifelong bond. Feel free to contact us about services or make a donation to help sustain our dogs while they are in our care. Description

Organized in 2012, Haven Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to saving and improving animal lives in the Greater Sacramento Area. We are proud to work in partnership with the area shelters and rescue dogs that would not otherwise be adoptable. Donation dollars provide advanced medical care for sick or injured dogs, supports dog training (when necessary), and funds their general care while they are with us. We have helped numerous families by providing funding for lifesaving treatments for their sick or injured pets so that they did not have to be euthanized. We are a completing volunteer-run organizations.
