Become a Team Leader for Outdoor Volunteer Days! Team Leaders provide support and oversight during events. If you love restoring habitat and working with others, this program is for you!

Where: Abalone Cove Shoreline Park, 5970 Palos Verdes Dr. South, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. Meet at the parking lot next to the booth.

When: Saturday, March 29, 1 pm to 3 pm

This training will be delivered in an outdoor space. Please come prepared by wearing closed-toe shoes and bringing sun protection.

All volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and register in advance to participate.

Please note that events may be canceled due to weather conditions. Check this page before heading out to the event.

All volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign and complete their release form before they can volunteer.

The mission of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) is to "preserve land and restore habitat for the education and enjoyment of all."

Description

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) manages over 1600 acres of open space on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and two nature centers with native plant demonstration gardens. The PVPLC engages volunteers in the development and maintenance of native plant gardens in order to demonstrate how gardening with native plants is beneficial for the environment.
