Volunteering can be as big or as small a commitment as time allows. Gentiva Hospice will work with your schedule. Not only are you lending a hand to those in need, but you’re also guaranteed to feel good about it, too.
Make 2025 the best year yet!! Give the gift of kindness all year long by making a resolution to volunteer with Gentiva Hospice in 2025.
Gentiva Hospice is looking for compassionate and caring people to volunteer to provide companionship for hospice patients. Our patients love having visitors, and your hour or two or more will brighten a patient's day! Looking for volunteers to hold a hand, share a story or listen to a few, chat, read, play music or games, or just share time together quietly.
No special skills needed. Orientation and Training are provided.
Driver’s License Required. Must be 18 years old to be a direct care volunteer.
TB testing, Background check/Fingerprinting and drug screen (At Gentiva’s expense)
All it takes is one act of Kindness to make someone’s day!
