North Rosenberg's Basic Needs Ministry creates a space for residents of the community experiencing homelessness and/ or limited resources to receive basic needs assistance . We provide a meal, an opportunity to shower, and a space for prayer and fellowship every Monday from 12pm-2pm.
As the Basic Needs Assistant, your job is to c reate a welcoming and supportive environment for community members. You will help set up the room prior to guests arriving, as well as make sure everything is put away afterwards. You will also oversee the showers and distribution of hygiene items, as well the serving of food. Ideally, you would also be comfortable leading devotional and prayer at each session.
We are in need of 2 people for this volunteer opportunity.
