Our 19th st men's shelter is seeking regular volunteers to serve as day monitors and assist with the following tasks:
- Checking in clients
- Performing breathalyzer checks
- Opening lockers for clients
- Assisting clients with toiletries and towels
- Assisting with monitoring the day services room
- General administrative tasks
This opportunity is 18+ and will run from 9am-noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (training will be provided by staff). Please contact Erin Sweeney at 757-793-1961 or erin.sweeney@uss.salvationarmy.org if interested!

Description
The Salvation Army Hampton Roads Area Command serves southside Hampton Roads and its surrounding communities with programs and locations that serve families in need with emergency assistance, housing, substance abuse treatment, youth enrichment opportunities, spiritual care, and emergency disaster services.
