Community Resource Center partners with grocery stores around Encinitas and Del Mar, picking up food donations that would otherwise go to waste. Our drivers pick up each day of the week and deliver crates of food to our Food Pantry located in downtown Encinitas. The Truck Driver assistant helps load and unload the food donations, ranging from 10 pounds up to 50 pounds. The food then goes to clients experiencing food insecurity or otherwise receiving services from our case workers.
