Summary

We are looking for two Classroom Assistants to volunteer three hours a day in our Winter ESL Literacy Camp located at the Riverview International Center in Columbus, Ohio.

This role requires the volunteer to be physically present at the facility Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday January 20 - 23, 2025. Times are 1-4 PM Monday-Wednesday and 4:30-7:30 PM on Thursday the 23rd. A fixed gas mileage stipend will be provided.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with activities

• Teach scripted lessons to children in small groups

• Help Clean up after the activities

Requirements

• Be reliable, patient, and friendly

• Must be able to pass a background check

• Must be at least 21 years of age
