The Podcast Sponsorship Manager will play a critical role in generating revenue for local podcasts in Western Massachusetts by securing sponsorships from businesses and organizations within the community. This position involves a combination of outreach, negotiation, and relationship management to establish partnerships that benefit both the podcasts and their sponsors.

The manager will actively engage with local businesses and organizations to identify potential sponsorship opportunities. Building and maintaining strong relationships with sponsors will be key to ensuring ongoing support and collaboration. Developing compelling sponsorship proposals tailored to the needs and interests of potential sponsors will highlight the benefits of partnering with the podcasts. Negotiation will be an essential part of the role, with the aim of creating agreements that align with the objectives of both the podcasts and their sponsors.

The Podcast Sponsorship Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, addressing their needs and concerns while fostering a positive and productive partnership. Staying informed about local market trends and the podcasting landscape will be necessary to identify new sponsorship opportunities and strategies. Collaboration with podcast producers and marketing teams will ensure the effective integration of sponsor messages into podcast content.

Candidates should have proven experience in sales, marketing, or public relations, preferably within the media or entertainment industry. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with the podcasting industry and an understanding of how sponsorships can enhance content and audience reach are highly desirable. The role requires the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
