About Us:
Great Achievers Social Development Initiative (GASDI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities through education, economic empowerment, and social justice initiatives.
Job Summary:
The Capacity Building and Training Officer (Volunteer) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating capacity-building programs for GASDI's staff, partners, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify capacity gaps among staff, partners, and stakeholders.
- Design and develop training programs, manuals, and materials.
- Deliver training sessions, workshops, and conferences.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure integration of capacity-building initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, organizational development, social sciences).
- At least 3 years of experience in training and capacity development.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Important Note:
This is a volunteer position, and as such, it is unpaid. However, GASDI will provide a recommendation and certification upon successful completion of the volunteer term, contingent on achieving fruitful results and demonstrating a commitment to our mission.
