Volunteer Opportunities for Human Trafficking Awareness Walk

Join us in making a difference! We are seeking passionate volunteers to support our Human Trafficking Awareness Walk on January 18th, 2025. This event is a pivotal opportunity for the community to unite against human trafficking, raise awareness, and foster a safer environment for all.

Event Details:

  • Date: January 18th, 2025
  • Time: 8:30 AM
  • Location: Old Courthouse, Fairfield, CA

Volunteer Positions

  1. Event Setup and Breakdown Crew:

    • Role Description: Volunteers will assist in setting up event materials such as tables, banners, and equipment. After the event, they will help dismantle and pack up materials.
    • Skills Needed: Physical stamina, teamwork, punctuality.
    • Time Commitment: 7:00 AM - 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM.
  2. Registration and Information Desk:

    • Role Description: Volunteers will manage participant check-ins, distribute event materials, and provide information about the event.
    • Skills Needed: Strong communication skills, organizational skills, friendliness.
    • Time Commitment: 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM.
  3. Route Guides and Safety Monitors:

    • Role Description: Volunteers will guide participants along the walk route and ensure their safety by monitoring the path for any hazards.
    • Skills Needed: Attention to detail, communication skills, ability to stand for long periods.
    • Time Commitment: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
  4. Water and Snack Stations:

    • Role Description: Volunteers will set up and manage refreshment stations, distributing water and snacks to participants.
    • Skills Needed: Customer service skills, organizational skills.
    • Time Commitment: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
  5. Social Media and Photography Team:

    • Role Description: Volunteers will capture event highlights through photos and videos, and assist with live social media updates.
    • Skills Needed: Photography skills, social media savvy, creativity.
    • Time Commitment: 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM.

Nature of sound is a nonprofit organization operating in Solano County/Northern California. We provide community creative solutions through art, music, film, and games to solve critical issues we identify as our charitable causes.

We promote our youth outreach programs that focus on creative volunteer opportunities and services. Our various programs are tailored to individual passions, which allow us to engage youth towards our other charitable causes.

We promote nonprofit or Government programs that focus on aiding victims of crime such as; domestic violence, child abuse, and combating human trafficking. Our various programs will aid in public awareness and outreach.
