Junior Achievement of Southern Colorado provides free age-appropriate educational programs in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship to local youth. For our one-day "JA In A Day" programs, volunteers deliver the JA program to a classroom in one day. JA provides all curriculum material and teaching guides. No teaching experience is necessary! For our one-morning "JA Career Speaker Series" programs, volunteers visit multiple classrooms at the school to discuss their careers and educational journey. To sign up, email Jean Jie at jean.jie@ja.org or use the links below. We currently have volunteer needs for the following schools :

JA Career Speaker Series - Volunteers will be in each classroom for approximately 20-30 minutes to discuss their current careers, any past careers, and educational journey. They have the chance to visit several classrooms over the course of one morning. Volunteers are encouraged to bring any show-and-tell items that can help illustrate what they do. This is much less structured than JA In A day, and volunteers are encouraged to share their experiences and engage students in discussions of careers and education. JA can provide handouts and suggested discussion topics if needed. Opportunity lasts from approximately 8am-11:30am for each date.
