Imagine if The New Yorker Festival and the Aspen Ideas Festival had a baby - one with a Boston accent and Big Papi’s swagger. That’s The WBUR Festival, coming in 2025. We’re celebrating WBUR's 75th birthday with a big bash for the city we love. And we hope you'll join us.

Our three-day lineup, May 29 - 31, 2025, will be a convergence of fascinating people grappling with the most consequential issues of our time. The biggest speakers, the most captivating conversations, musical performances, multiple stages, memorable food and a lively street scene. It will be serious stuff, and wicked fun, too.

We're looking for volunteers to help with day of elements including check in, speaker management, ushering, etc... All volunteers are able to attend the festival for free outside of their scheduled volunteer shift(s).

90.9 WBUR-FM is Boston’s NPR news station and the home of nationally syndicated programs, including On Point, Here & Now, Only A Game and Car Talk, which reach millions of listeners each week on NPR stations across the United States and online. WBUR provides listeners with thorough coverage of local, national and international news from NPR, Public Radio International and the BBC, in addition to its own locally produced content. WBUR has a dedicated newsroom reporting original, local content throughout the day, as well as Radio Boston, a daily news magazine examining issues, news, people and places through a distinctly Boston lens.

Through a dynamic exchange of ideas, WBUR serves and engages the local community as a source of news and information, providing insight and cultural context that unites a diverse, complex and changing world.

WBUR 90.9 FM is Boston's NPR News Station. We’re big proponents of fostering a strong sense of community here at WBUR. Because of listener support, WBUR is able to operate around the clock to cover the news that your friends, family, coworkers, and customers count on.
