We are looking for a curriculum manager to create, maintain, and improve upon the curriculums of our programs. LifeSmart Education offers financial literacy and life skill classes to prepare youth for success in life both in and out of the classroom. The curriculum manager is responsible for ensuring that learning goals of each program are met.
This is a remote role for a duration of six months with the option to continue longer and opportunities to instruct if desired. The time commitment of this role is roughly 5-10 hours each week with a flexible schedule.
Please note the first week is a trial period to see if the volunteer position is a good fit for you and LifeSmart Education.
Responsibilities
Create and implement the curriculum for instructors
Collaborate with different school administrators to support the implementation of programs
Help to train instructors to learn different curricula
Attend meetings with schools to gather information on developing in-school programs
Provide support and guidance to instructors as needed
Volunteer is required to respond to emails within 36 hours and complete assignments in a timely manner
Skills
Teaching experience desired
1+ years of curriculum writing experience
1+ years of experience overseeing educational program implementation
Organization and time management skills
Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision

This program is specially designed to meet the needs of minority and at-risk youth, guiding them through a course of study that will expose them to drastic life changing experiences abroad.
