Federal Hill House’s mission is to help our neighbors in Federal Hill, Olneyville, and the surrounding community thrive, at every stage of life. Our vision is that our community is healthy, thriving, and mutually engaged. Our agency values are belonging, empathy, partnership, accountability, and justice.

Description

At FHH, offer education, opportunities, and support that is accessible, free or low-cost, culturally and linguistically responsive, and most importantly - high quality. Our services include important elements of what all families need to thrive: from infancy through old age.

• support to help us be the best parents we can be, setting the stage for our child(ren)’s health & educational development;
• quality child care so we can work & our children can learn;
• education and enrichment opportunities for our school-age children, during out of school time;
• positive role models, skill-building, and resume-building opportunities when we are teens & young adults;
• access to healthy, culturally responsive food to eat;
• support accessing health information and navigating care;
• help maximizing income, benefits, and tax returns
• opportunities for engagement when we are older; and,
• a place where we can connect with others.

Across Federal Hill House, community members come to volunteer, to seek support, to meet their needs, to share their talents, and to build positive relationships. We have thrived over the past 137 years by engaging the community in our work and creating opportunities for our neighbors to reach their goals and meet their needs.
