Join us for a fun and impactful opportunity to help prepare for AIDS/LifeCycle, a life-changing, seven-day bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles that raises critical funds and awareness for the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Why: By volunteering for this role, you'll be directly supporting the success of AIDS/LifeCycle, a vital fundraiser that provides critical resources and services for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Your efforts in assembling registration packets help ensure a seamless Orientation Day experience for over 3,000 participants, empowering them to raise awareness and funds for a future without new transmissions.
Who: The Los Angeles LGBT Center is an unstoppable force in the fight against bigotry and the struggle to build a better world; a world in which LGBTQ people can be healthy, equal, and complete members of society
What to Expect:
Volunteers will assemble registration packets for the thousands of cyclists and Roadies participating in AIDS/LifeCycle.
Expect a fun, team-oriented atmosphere with light snacks provided to keep you energized.
You'll have the chance to connect with fellow volunteers while making a tangible impact in the fight against HIV/AIDS!
Light refreshments will be provided.
What's Required:
Volunteers must register on the L.A LGBT Center website to participate.
Attire: Casual and warm.
Meals: Light refreshments will be provided during the shift
Location: The Village 1125 N. McCadden PL. Los Angeles 90038
Parking: Secure parking in our structure.
Shift Details: Tuesday, January 28th-Thursday, January 30th
Shift #1: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (4 hours)
Shift #2: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM (4 hours)
