Volunteer with the Los Angeles LGBT Center as a Graphic Designer and build your portfolio while contributing to a meaningful cause!

Why: By creating visually compelling materials, volunteers in this role help the Los Angeles LGBT Center engage the community, raise awareness, and promote vital programs and events. Your designs will play a key role in amplifying the Center's mission to support and uplift the LGBTQ community.

Who: The Los Angeles LGBT Center is an unstoppable force in the fight against bigotry and the struggle to build a better world; a world in which LGBTQ people can be healthy, equal, and complete members of society.

What to Expect:

Volunteers will design flyers and promotional materials for community and program events using Canva templates or Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring alignment with the Center's branding and communication strategies.

This role offers the chance to build your portfolio, collaborate with a professional marketing team, and contribute to meaningful campaigns while gaining nonprofit experience.

What's Required:

Volunteers must create a Volunteer Resources account on the Los Angeles LGBT Center website and activate it by attending an information session.

Volunteers must commit to a minimum of four months and have proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

A strong visual sense, attention to detail, and good communication skills are essential. While prior design experience is a plus, it is not required.
