Womenful Voice is seeking a Finance Compliance Manager who will oversee and ensure adherence to U.S. financial regulations and policies within the organization. This role is crucial in developing compliance strategies, conducting audits, and providing guidance to maintain transparent and ethical financial practices that support our mission of empowering women.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in alignment with U.S. financial regulations and organizational goals.
- Monitor and analyze the organization's financial activities to identify potential compliance risks associated with state and federal laws.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of financial practices and reporting to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments to provide training and resources related to financial compliance and best practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries regarding financial compliance matters.
- Prepare reports for senior management and the board of directors outlining compliance status and areas for improvement.
- Stay current with changes in U.S. financial regulations and industry standards to ensure the organization remains compliant.
