Point in Time Count Surveyor
Conduct a 10-minute survey of people experiencing homelessness by meeting them where they are staying outdoors or in vehicles on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. Teams of 2 - 3 people will go out together. Those conducting the surveys need to be comfortable interviewing a wide variety of people in various living conditions. At least one person per team needs to be able to drive while the others may ride in a vehicle.
A smartphone with strong cellular connectivity is needed to conduct the survey online in the field. Volunteers also need to be able to speak English and read maps. Each volunteer will need to complete a 1-hour online training provided by the Metro Denver Homeless Initiative in the two weeks prior to the PIT date.
