Role Overview: Mobile Developer/Flutter

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Developer to join our team and spearhead the development of a mobile application for our Web-based social media platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in mobile app development, particularly in creating engaging and user-friendly experiences

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand the functionality and features of our existing web-based social media platform.

• Design and develop a user-friendly mobile application using Flutter for ios and Android platforms with pixel perfect designs..

• Ensure the mobile app aligns with the established brand, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX) guidelines.

• Integrate APIs and functionalities and sockets for seamless communication with the server.

• Optimize app performance and design for various mobile devices.

• Implement security measures and data protection protocols within the mobile app.

• Conduct thorough manual or unit testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in mobile app development for ios or Android platforms.

• Proficiency in Flutter - at least 3 years of commercial experience

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, sockets and web services integration.

• Expertise in state management approaches such as Provider, Bloc, Riverpod, or any.

• Proficiency in using local databases such as SQLite, Hive, or Floor, etc.

• Strong understanding of mobile app UI/UX principles and design standards.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools for Flutter to ensure high-quality code (e.g., unit testing, widget testing, integration testing).

• Knowledge of mobile app testing and debugging techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Web-based platforms or similar social media communities.

• Previous projects demonstrating the integration of API or sockets into mobile applications.

• Understanding of cloud-based technologies and server configurations for mobile app integration.

• Experience in writing clean code and knowledge in design patterns..

Commitment & Location

10 hours per week. We require a year-long commitment for most positions. We can be flexible on time and support vacations and unlimited leave with advance notice.
