As an Indirect Patient Volunteer in hospice care, you play a vital role in supporting the mission of providing comfort and dignity to patients and their families. The position focuses on behind-the-scenes tasks that ensure patients and caregivers receive the best possible care and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry or preparing patient materials
  • Create care packages, handmade cards or other thoughtful items for patients
  • Help organize and maintain supplies for hospice teams
  • Provide assistance to staff with non-patient-facing projects
  • Answer phone calls in office

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A reliable and flexible attitude with the ability to work independently
  • Willingness to complete training to understand hospice care philosophy
  • A desire to make a difference behind the scenes to support patients and families
