WonderKids is a free literacy tutoring and mentorship program available to any students, kindergarten through 6th grade in the Milford school district. For more than a decade, we've impacted nearly 150 students through partnerships with local elementary schools. WonderKids meets at Milford First United Methodist Church every Tuesday and Wednesday evening that school is in session. Reading coaches work together in small groups of children, helping each group with a variety of preplanned literacy and social activities.
Two days and times to choose from:
- Tuesdays (4-6:15 p.m.)
- Wednesdays (3:15-5:45 p.m.)
A few reasons to volunteer with us:
- Anyone can do it, NO teaching experience needed!
- We’ve been making an impact in the community for 12
years and counting! - Serve students and families from Milford elementary
schools! - We operate by school calendar, no holidays & no
summers!
