Camp ACA is a nonprofit outdoor educational campground dedicated to providing inclusive adventures and hands-on support for individuals of all abilities. Position Overview:
The Camp Host is a volunteer position responsible for overseeing day-to-day campground operations, assisting guests, and helping maintain a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all campers and visitors. Responsibilities: Greet and assist campers during check-in and check-out. Answer questions about the campground, local trails, and recreational opportunities. Monitor campground facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety. Provide first aid and emergency support as needed. Assist with maintaining firewood, Wi-Fi, and gear library supplies. Educate guests on Leave No Trace principles and Camp ACA’s mission. Report any issues or concerns to the Camp ACA leadership team. Assist with event and clinic setup as needed. Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older. Current Wilderness First Aid (WFA) and/or Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification with CPR/AED training is required. Enthusiasm for outdoor recreation and environmental stewardship. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
