Friends of Surprise Libraries

Volunteer Board members needed to expand local awareness of Friends of the Surprise Libraries Inc and thier support of literacy in the greater surprise area. Monthly Board meetings occur the second Friday of the month from 10:30 am to noon via zoom. Particularly needed Corporate non-Profit Recording Secretary, Assistant Treasurer, Grant Writer and Volunteer Coordinator.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Friends of the Surprise Libraries, Inc is to promote the presence of the Libraries for the benefit of the community and to create public awareness by serving as an advocate for the libraries. We support the three public libraries in Surprise in addition to local school libraries , teachers and reading programs primarily though sales of donated books and other media sold at Friends' Place bookstore located inside the Surprise Library lobby at 16089 N. Bullard Avenue.
