Join the City of Bellingham, the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association (NSEA), and our community for a volunteer work party on Saturday, January 18th, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. to restore salmon habitat and water quality at our Willow Spring restoration site in Squalicum Creek Park. All ages and abilities welcome. Participants under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Tools, gloves, and instructions are provided. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. Additional information will be emailed to registered participants. Register early, space is limited! If you sign up, please show up!

The City of Bellingham Parks Volunteer Program empowers community to have the tools, knowledge, and skills to care for, restore, and protect Bellingham's parks, trails, and open spaces.

Description

There are many ways to participate in the Bellingham Parks Volunteer Program. We host regular drop in work parties throughout the year, support Park Stewards who volunteer independently, and collaborate with local groups to plan their own community-led work parties.
