Events and Projects Coordinator aka Project Management Officer (PMO)
Join the Mexican Talent Network in the Netherlands as an "Events and Projects Coordinator aka Project Management Officer (PMO)" and become an integral part of our passionate team dedicated to building community and links between Mexico and the Netherlands. This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to help us plan and execute our events and projects optimally to continue growing as a community and create more opportunities to build bridges between Mexico and the Netherlands.
Tasks and deliverables during your volunteering tenure 2025-2026:
Maintain an up-to-date list of current events and projects that are organized and in which RdTM-NL members participate.
Facilitate and contribute to the orientation of members who wish to participate in existing or future RdTM-NL projects.
Provide guidance to members who wish to start a project on existing contacts, mechanisms and/or tools.
Responsible for the design, implementation and verification of RdTM-NL project procedures.
Contribute to the design, implementation and verification of RdTM-NL procedures in the management of programs, events or projects.
Requirements and qualifications:
Preferably have experience or knowledge in project, event or activity management (if you do not have much experience, demonstrate commitment to learn these skills in the short/medium term).
Minimum time required to perform your role: 1-3 hours per week plus the time required (if necessary) to meet virtually with RdTM-NL members.
Self-management of activities while working remotely (if you do not have experience, be willing to learn and apply the methods and tools provided)
If you have not been a member of the association, commit to attending introductory sessions about the association and the Global MX Network.
Submit an email or motivation letter including 3 goals to achieve or aspire to during your term.
Speaking Spanish is essential for this vacancy or at least level C1 is required to fill this position.

Access to coaching and guidance from the MD and previous leaders of the Network to strengthen your skills as a program or project manager.
Business cards, email and travel expenses when representing the association as part of the MD (if required).
At the end of your term you will have acquired or gained experience in event and project management for non-profit civil associations.
