Mayor Dyer's Beautify Fresno initiative is teaming up with RiverTree Volunteers to host a cleanup event along the San Joaquin River and nearby trails near Riverside Golf Course in North Fresno on Monday, January 20, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., as part of the National Day of Service on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. MLK Day is a federal holiday that honors the legacy of Dr. King and encourages all Americans to volunteer their time to efforts that benefit their community.
This cleanup event will concentrate on cleaning along the San Joaquin River and nearby trails and fields near Riverside Golf Course in North Fresno.
Volunteers will meet at the start of the Lewis S. Eaton trail near the parking lot to the Riverside Golf Course no later than 1:15 p.m. to sign in and for orientation.
All volunteers are required to sign a Liability Waiver form prior to participating in this event. To speed up the check-in process, we encourage you to sign the release waiver electronically prior to the event by visiting https://appdev.fresno.gov/beautify/MLKDay. All participants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign for them.
Beautify Fresno will provide trash bags, paper pickers, vests, and gloves.

Beautify Fresno is a city-wide effort to clean our neighborhoods, streets, and highways by partnering with local organizations, non-profits, churches and service organizations, and individuals in the community.
