About GASDI

Great Achievers Social Development Initiative (GASDI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable populations through sustainable development programs. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Volunteer Director, Research and Evaluation to lead our research and evaluation efforts.

Job Summary

The Volunteer Director, Research and Evaluation will provide strategic leadership and oversight for GASDI's research and evaluation activities. The successful candidate will design and implement research and evaluation frameworks, methods, and tools to assess the effectiveness and impact of GASDI's programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement GASDI's research and evaluation strategy

- Design and conduct research and evaluation studies to assess program effectiveness and impact

- Develop and maintain research and evaluation frameworks, methods, and tools

- Provide technical assistance and capacity-building support to program staff

- Analyze and interpret research and evaluation data

- Develop and disseminate research and evaluation reports and publications

Requirements

- Degree in a relevant field (e.g., research methods, evaluation, statistics, social sciences)

- At least 2 years of experience in research and evaluation, preferably in a non-profit or development organization

- Proven experience in designing and implementing research and evaluation studies

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team

Desired Qualifications

- BSc./MSc./Ph.D. in a relevant field

- Experience working in a developing country context

- Familiarity with research and evaluation software and tools

- Experience in publishing research and evaluation findings in peer-reviewed journals
