Hundreds of seniors in King County feel stranded in their own homes and would love your help getting to the grocery store, the pharmacy, the bank, etc.
Relieve both their isolation and their worries by signing up to be a driver with Volunteer Services.
At Volunteer Services you can easily fit helping your neighbor into your busy schedule. You let us know when, where and how you want to help and we'll have a senior you can be matched with that will be the perfect fit. A world of difference can be fit into a little time!
Volunteer Services assists low-income older adults and persons living with disabilities. Volunteers can provide assistance with light housecleaning, transportation, grocery shopping, home repair and yard care.
Time and location are very flexible; you can volunteer in your own neighborhood on days that work for you, at times and frequency that fit your schedule. You are provided with an orientation and ongoing staff support.

Description
Volunteer Services is a program of Catholic Community Services. We are a Washington state-wide program, started as a safety net for older adults and adults with disabilities who do not qualify for state-paid chore assistance and cannot afford to hire assistance.
