Mission Statement
Parker Project’s mission is to help alleviate the financial burden experienced by families battling childhood cancer, allowing them to focus on the child and family’s quality of life.
Description
Parker Project is on a mission to support all families battling childhood cancer. We intend to alleviate the financial burden that many families face when going through this incredibly stressful and expensive experience. Our focus is to ensure families can focus on their quality of life and enhance their flexibility in being able to prioritize their child or children who are battling cancer. Parents often find themselves in situations where they must travel for treatment, take time off for care, or work multiple jobs to try and make ends meet. There is no need parents and families should be experiencing additional challenges when facing this life-changing diagnosis. This is where we come in - from putting food on the table to ensuring a mortgage payment isn’t missed, or anything in between - Parker Project will be there to share the burden these families face.
We support families across the nation and since 2022, we have served over 400 families in 37 states with roughly $868,914 in financial support to transportation expenses related to treatments, medical bills, housing assistance, and food and groceries.
