Hospice volunteers provide services to patients and their families. Services may include; sitting with a patient for companionship or caregiver relief/respite, visting/talking, reading to patients, singing and doing activities like puzzles or games. Volunteers may provide light housekeeping duties like dusting, vacuuming or laundry. Volunteers may also provide help in office or administrative tasks in order to help the Volunteer Coordinator or other staff. Volunteers DO NOT provide any kind of patient care, healthcare or medical services.
