Saffiyahfrica Inc is a nonprofit organization based in New York City, committed to bridging the gap between immigration and healthcare, technology, and education. Our programs have positively impacted over 1,000 individuals, especially in the South Bronx, through health screenings, literacy workshops, and innovative Children’s Tech programs. What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking enthusiastic board members with expertise in areas such as:
- Nonprofit leadership
- Fundraising and grant writing
- Technology and education
- Finance and accounting
- Marketing and communications
As a board member, you will:
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight.
- Support fundraising initiatives.
- Advocate for our mission and expand our network.
- Collaborate with our team to scale our programs and impact.

Description
At Saffiyahfrica Inc , our focus among other things is to reestablish self-empowerment and self-sufficiency in our target audience in order for them to become productive, educated, and contributors to society. We strive to improve the capacity of and support of our community through focused programming and devoted mentoring. In order to help our community thrive we are offering programs such as adult literacy, children in tech program, immigration application assistance, healthcare services, and much more.
Our organization's goals and objectives are as follows:
