ORGANIZATION: Michelson Found Animals

Hello everyone, Happy New Year!

The Better Neighbor Project Team is looking to start the year with a bang. We are looking for an extra set of hands at our warehouse to help us pack pet food. This food will be distributed at our weekly/biweekly pet food pantries and upcoming events.

With your help, we will be able to support many hungry pets in Los Angeles.

Pet Food Packers will be responsible for:

  • Packaging and preparing dry food to be ready for distribution and events

  • Lifting and/or moving up to 25lbs of pet food

  • Maintaining the packing area clean

  • Supporting staff with preparing for pet pantry distribution

Required Training/Qualifications:

  • On Site Training

  • Minimum 16 years of age (age 13-15 may volunteer with a parent/guardian)

  • Possess basic range of motion and energy to complete simple tasks such as sweeping, wiping down, lift and/or move up to 25lbs, etc.

**We ask that volunteers sign up for no more than one 2-hour shift per day maximum**
