The holiday season can be especially challenging for grieving families. Many children and families are seeking support from the Caring Place to cope with their loss. To meet this increased need, we're looking for compassionate volunteers to join our team in the coming year.
We're hosting two informational meetings in January:
- Tuesday, January 14th, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
- Wednesday, January 15th, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Both meetings will be held at the Caring Place and will include a boxed meal.

Description
The Caring Place is a program that provides grief support to families and communities. There are thousands of children and adults in our area who have experienced the death of a family member. We are looking for compassionate individuals who can listen to the stories of grieving children and adults.
Volunteers are needed to facilitate grief groups, greet families, serve food, and sew commemorative quilts. The Caring Place provides a training to prepare volunteers for the various roles needed.
