Special Equestrians

Join Special Equestrians this spring and make a difference in the life of someone with special needs! Volunteers will serve as side walkers and assist participants during their therapeutic riding lessons, with more advanced training available later on for those with horse experience or those interested in learning more about horses. Multiple days/times available, with afternoons, mornings, and weekend opportunities. No horse experience is necessary, we will teach volunteers everything they need to know to work around our amazing equine partners!

SPECIAL EQUESTRIANS, INC.If you like horses, the outdoors, and helping people, we have the perfect opportunity for you. Please join the force of over 200 volunteers that assist Special Equestrians, Inc. Special Equestrians, Inc. is a therapeutic horseback riding program for people with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities. All levels of experience are available (no horse experience necessary); just attend one of our Volunteer Training sessions February 5 th or February 7 th.
