Our mission is to bridge the gap in social and economic inequalities by providing access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.

- Education: Providing scholarships, mentorship, and educational resources to disadvantaged youth

Role Summary

We are seeking a visionary and innovative individual to join our Board of Directors as a Director, Technology and Innovation. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing technology strategies that drive GASDI's mission and growth. This is a volunteer position that requires a minimum commitment of 10-15 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with GASDI's mission and goals

- Oversee the development and maintenance of GASDI's website, social media, and other digital platforms

- Identify and evaluate new technologies and innovations that can enhance GASDI's programs and services

- Collaborate with the Board and staff to ensure effective implementation of technology initiatives

- Develop and manage budgets for technology-related activities

- Ensure the security and integrity of GASDI's data and technology systems

Requirements

- Proven experience in technology leadership, innovation, or a related field

- Strong understanding of nonprofit technology trends and best practices

- Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

- Strong strategic thinking and communication skills

- Familiarity with website development, social media management, and database management
